Sociology

The function of sociology, as of every science, is to reveal that which is hidden.

Sociology explains social phenomena resulting from the interaction of different actors. For instance, the interrelationship between technology and society. The different manifestations of terrorism form another current example. Sociologists describe such developments and occurrences with help of scientific theories and analyze them by utilizing empirical methods.
