Dr. Marco Schmitt is a research associate with research focuses in recent network research, communication networks and multi-layer networks in the fields of climate protection and scientific innovations.

His methodological competences lie in quantitative and qualitative network analysis, online surveys, guideline-based expert interviews, social simulation and methods of technology assessment.
