These include non-university research, research and teaching at universities and technical colleges, policy advice, organizational consulting, and public relations work.

Non-University Research

For example, at the GESIS Leibniz Institute for Social Sciences or the Social Science Research Center Berlin. Non-university research institutions see themselves as scientific service providers and usually assign third-party-funded positions.
