The Team for Sociology and Gender and Life Course Research works on a variety of projects whose breadth in total covers the range of experience of men and women from childhood to old age, in international comparison.
A growing focus is Gender in German educational institutions of higher learning. Another growing focus is gender and leadership.

Determinants of gender segregation at universities
This study examines the determinants of differences in the integration of female scientists at German universities. The 60 largest universities of Germany will be invited to participate in this study.
